  • Assisted in every aspect of the research process. Worked in conjunction with two Ph.D. recipients, as well as an M.D. recipient on a separate project. Most involvement was directed toward patients with paraplegia. Also helped develop a research protocol, designed certain testing tools and helped implement the agreed upon procedure. This consisted of testing healthy, young adult males through a rigorous exercise routine in an attempt to test the efficacy of a proposed ergogenic aid. Another project focused on determining the biomechanical advantage of power-assisted wheelchairs vs. conventional wheelchairs and examining their impact on the users' quality of life.

Have worked in various stages since 2006, ranging from the vitals station to check out, where both medical students and physicians discuss the results of the exams with the patients and, if necessary, recommend further care.
